As part of the social media team I got involved in one of the free and spontaneous initiatives aimed at promoting the Wine Producers who have taken the challenge and will take part to AMA2013, the 1st Abruzzo Wine event that will be held in Chieti on the 2nd and 3rd March.
15 photographers (professionals and not), one blogger (myself) and one Instagramers (@bombafire for @igers_abruzzo): appointement at Azienda Vitivinicola Sergio Del Casale on the 11th February 2013 at 17.3o: all ready, excited and wrapped in our coats we met in Via San Biagio in Vasto at the Wine Producer’s Property to start our Shooting …and our tasting session!
I must say you realize that you are gonna have a good time (or a bad one) from the 1st minute: Hospitality is an art …just like making wine! Sergio Del Casale and his family must all be artists then as we all felt at ease from the very beginning. Cameras and iPhones out, after my brief introduction in regards of:
– AMA2013: what is it? Abruzzo wine event to introduce on the market new wines produced during the last harvest, B2B meetings, workshops, wine tasting with Adua Villa and Luca Gardini, over 50 wine producers from all over Abruzzo, local, national and international press, photographers, foodies, bloggers and the regional Instagramers community are involved
– Paesaggid’Abruzzo: Alessandro Di Nisio is once again playing an active role on promoting Abruzzo through images. It is within AMA2013 that he launched his last photo contest which will then lead to a final exhibition of the best shots taken by both photographers and photo lovers. His facebook page counts in this moment 95.354 likes …this data is constantly increasing, thanks to the strong interaction and participation by the entire community and of course a natural virality, definately and most likely positively envied.
– Instagramers Abruzzo: the Chieti CCIAA has shown interest into social media and together with all other AMA2013 partners, they have opted for: contents, images, virality and social media marketing. The Instagramers community got involved into the project and also launched a challenge within the wine event, asking all Instagramers form Abruzzo and not, to soot and share wine imaged to be tagged #abruzzodivino #igersabruzzo and #AMA2013
…having said so: we all ready to start and tour Sergio Del Casale winery!
